Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
These terms govern the use of The People Ops Manager at thepeopleopsmanager.com. The service is offered to businesses only.
1. Provider and scope
The provider is Max Benz, Am hohen Stein 36a, 01189 Dresden, Germany (see the Imprint). By creating an account or subscribing you agree to these terms on behalf of your organization.
The service is offered to businesses (Unternehmer within the meaning of § 14 BGB) only. It is not offered to consumers.
2. The service
The People Ops Manager is web-based software to coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding: cases, workflows, tasks, approvals, integrations and an MCP server for AI assistants. The features are described on the features page. The service does not replace your HR system, makes no employment decisions and does not provision or disable accounts on its own.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You need an account to use the app. Keep your login details and MCP tokens confidential. You are responsible for the actions taken with your account and for the users and tokens you add to your workspace. Tell us without delay if you suspect misuse.
4. Plans, prices and payment
Plans and prices are shown on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars per workspace and month and exclude taxes. Taxes such as VAT are calculated at checkout.
You subscribe in Stripe Checkout with a card. The subscription is charged monthly in advance and renews automatically each month until you cancel. Promotion codes are entered in Stripe Checkout and apply as described on the pricing page.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time in the billing portal under Settings. The subscription then ends at the end of the billing period you already paid for, and you keep access until then. Fees already paid for a period are not refunded unless the law requires it.
Either party may terminate for good cause. We may suspend access if a payment fails or if the service is misused.
6. Customer data and data protection
You keep all rights to the data you enter. For employee data in your workspace you are the controller and we are your processor. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is available at team@thepeopleopsmanager.com. Do not enter compensation, bank details, identity documents, health data or other special categories of personal data. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt to access other workspaces, overload or probe the service, or use the MCP server or API in a way that circumvents rate limits or role permissions.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable operation but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may improve or change features. If we change prices, we tell you in advance and the change applies from the next billing period.
9. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual duties, and then only for the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Otherwise liability is excluded.
10. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is Dresden, Germany, to the extent the law allows.
